What’s good ?
My name is Rich Barisciano a.k.a. Bob Lee and I’m a 32-year-old music producer from Staten Island, NYC. I’ve been selling beats for the past 4 years and have been honored to work with many talented artists such as Ren Thomas. Tyrone Briggs and many more. I’m fortunate enough to have my music played on Hot 97 as well as other radio stations.
After attending school at the Institute of Audio Research (2012) to study Audio Production and Engineering, I knew that this was something that I wanted to do for the rest of my life. However, for the next few years, my progress and dreams to become a producer came to a halt because of the demons I was battling with substance and alcohol abuse. Thankfully, I got help in 2014 and have been sober for the last 8 years.
Now my goal is to connect and grow with rappers that share the same love for music as I do!

I could remember as early as 6 years old playing my parent’s vinyl on the record player (also being yelled at numerous times to not scratch them like a DJ).
Being born during the “Golden Era” of Hip-Hop and listening to artists such as Nas, Wu-Tang, 50 Cent, Jay-Z, and Biggie was an aspect of my childhood into adulthood that will always stick with me. Skip ahead to the present day, there are still rappers carrying that “Boom Bap’ torch like Griselda, Black Thought, Freddie Gibbs, Roc Marciano, Kendrick Lamar, and J-Cole.
Being an independent creator can be extremely difficult, especially when it comes to deciding what areas of your profession to invest into. As a producer, there have been many times throughout my career I tried to take an alternative route instead of investing money. This is why when I see rappers use free beats, I completely understand because I had the same thought process, however there are some road blocks that come along doing that. In the article below I go into detail on why you should invest money into your sound
